My son closed the passenger car door catching the seat belt buckle in it. I cant open it or lock the car any ideas please how to fix this. Please sensible ways of dealing with this problem not I have received several humorous but of little help suggestions.|||Open it from the inside when you can put enough pressure on the door to get it open|||I%26#039;m afraid you%26#039;ll have to force it with a jemmy or something.
use a cloth between the jemmy and the bodywork so as not to damage any further.
you could try using your car jack from the inside wedged agains something solid or another piece of wood etc;|||Get someone to hold the catch open, then give it a hefty thump or kick from the inside. On a strong bit of the door, obviously, not on fragile plastic trim.
