How long does it take to flush out a radiator for my car?

I am going to get my radiator flushed out ,i am wondering how long will this take and how much do you think a mechanic will charge for doing this|||Hello, this all depends on how you go about doing it. 1) draining the cooling system with the thermostat out, then filling it with water while the drain plugs are open until clean water comes out, then turn off the water and let it empty out, put the NEW thermostat back in and close the drain plugs and fill with a 50/50 mix of coolant and run it until the thermostat opens and top off as necessary and put the radiator cap back on. This can take all day if you are doing this by yourself and the cost is just materials. 2) You can take it to a Automotive Technician who will use special machine%26#039;s to power flush your cooling system in about one hour if everything is in good shape. This is the best method for cars and trucks if you like keeping your maintenance up, but this can cost a lot depending on the situation of the cooling system. This should be done every two years or 24000 miles. Good Luck|||A mechanic will charge about 拢25.00 per hour depending where you go, if it needs flushing do it your self with bicarbonate of soda crystals in the rad add warm water to dissolve the crystals then flush out with a hose pipe ,but remember to undo bottom hose ,simple and cheap, but why do you think it needs flushing?
