Road was extremely icy yesterday and couldn%26#039;t stop, went straight into the curb quite hard. Now the steering is all messed up, my car wants to go to the left all the time?
What have I done and how do I solve it?
Thanks|||You have knocked the wheels out of alignment.
The only real fix is a trip to the alignment shop.
If you fail to have the car aligned your tires will wear out quickly. Kind of like a pay me now or pay me more later situation.
Usually from $50 - $60 to have only the front aligned. From $100 - $125 to have all 4 wheels aligned. The alignment shop determines if a 4 wheel alignment is required.
Prices assume you have not bent any suspension pieces that would need replacement. If parts are bent and must be replace you can expect to pay more money.|||You probably messed your wheel alignment up. Hitting the curb would have displaced it and if it is pulling hard to the left you will need to have it adjusted at an auto shop. If it is only pulling slightly you can get away with driving it, but it%26#039;ll just get worse over time.|||have them inspect the front suspension first. You could of bent a tie rod or messed something else up. If nothing is damaged, then do the alignment,
